About the Studio

Hello there, I’m Clarissa,
a Swiss watercolourist based in Lucerne.

Some years ago I fell for Scotland, its landscapes, its light, and its whiskies. I’ve been quietly translating that feeling into paint. For me, each dram is a story; each brushstroke echoes that careful craft. My work turns the subtle warmth of whisky into gentle washes of colour. A quiet conversation between paint and paper.

I paint slowly, and I share slowly. There’s no rush here, no algorithm to feed. Just the work, the stories behind it, and the occasional detour to a distillery or a hillside that stayed with me.

Where to find my work

Everything begins here, on whiskyart.ch: This is where the paintings and their stories live. If a piece speaks to you, here’s where each part of the work has found its home:

  • The Peat & Paint Wash Club: Four times a year I send out a piece of digital snail mail: a high-resolution print of an exclusive original, the story behind it, and a few seasonal touches. Each release can be collected on its own – no subscription, no obligation. It lives on Buy Me a Coffee, alongside my other digital downloads and the simplest way to support the studio directly.

  • Prints & everyday pieces: For art prints, cards, and a little merch, you’ll find my designs on “Redbubble”, produced and shipped by trusted print partners.

  • Get WhiskyArt instantly: Visit my studio shop on “Buy Me a Coffee” for print-at-home downloads and other small digital products from my original artwork.

  • Behind the scenes: on Instagram (@whiskyart.ch) I share works in progress, the stories as they unfold, and glimpses of pieces finding their way into the world.
