A watercolour painting of a whisky bottle composed of geometric triangles in shades of amber, gold, and deep brown. The words "sorry, Lynchburg is dry" appear across the composition against a pale background.

Amber in Triangles

This one came from Robin Laing's song of the same name - it was playing while I worked, and it felt like a piece for the bourbon lover in the room. I wanted to see what the bottle looked like if you reduced it to its essential colour, which is, of course, amber. - Watercolour - 16.6 x 23.8cm - 300g/m²
